containers Inventions That Save Lives

I just returned from speaking at an invention show on how to package your invention to sell. I saw a lot of great, innovative products that had a lot of merit. Some of them could become the next, new, "hot" buyer product. However, what struck me the most was that every person focused on what they were developing not either it would appeal to the consumer. They seemed to even ignore a buyer need for their product.

I watched American creator while I was in away and that same judgment was reinforced. Population invented things that had in fact no store potential whatsoever. Not matter how clever, catchy or innovative the containers might be to lure the buyer into the purchase, it can't save these inventions from an unmitigated disaster.

News From Maldives

It got me to thinking about unfulfilled or unmet needs of the consumer. These are needs that we all face -- either we know it or not. How does the package play a role in satisfying a buyer need or creating buyer satisfaction?

Look at the growth of the ready or ready to eat market. All these new food products have been developed because the containers allows the goods to be created. Without the package, the goods couldn't even exist. The consumer's lack of time is a major unfulfilled need and buyer goods fellowships are creating products that address that demand

Take an everyday item such toothpaste. Where would we be without the package? Consumers never even think about why that goods package was created and how it works to contain and dispense the goods while retention it sanitary. The toothpaste tube fulfilled a need.

The next great wave of containers innovation/inventions will come from problems not yet resolved or ones that haven't hit the buyer awareness button. Be aware of issues such as security and integrity of the products we buy and consume. Look at all the modern flourish of goods recalls and contamination issues: pet food, peanut butter, coarse everyday items that could kill you or your pet. Are consumers getting worried and paying attention? You bet! Just from the pet food issue alone there has been a slow down of pet food sales and an onslaught of Population making homemade pet food.

Getting back to toothpaste, have you read about the Chinese counterfeit toothpaste that is here in the Us? It's quite definite (according to what I saw in the news) that by seeing at the containers (misspellings and so on) that it's not a legitimate goods (that is only definite if you read the package, of course). The warning signals are there for the buyer to see. But what if the containers looks general and the goods inside is contaminated? In the next wave of innovation, the package may tell us if the goods is bad, contaminated or counterfeit. Seriously, the package may talk, change colors, or do a myriad of other things to clue the buyer to be wary.

A containers company just sent me this incredible statistic. "Product tampering at the retail level is growing at more than 13 percent each year." That's scary. So, what is your containers innovation that could nip that in the bud or prove that the goods had been tampered with before the buyer purchased it? That is a huge an unmet need. It is an foremost one because most consumers don't identify until it's too late. Remember the Tylenol poisonings? That created havoc, after the fact. It created a whole new type of goods containers "tamper-evident."

So think about time to come buyer issues. goods security is going to continue to grow. We have just seen the beginning of the consumer's awareness to it. Can you create a containers innovation that will inspire trust and create peace of mind? Think about the untapped store potential and occasion for the next containers invention that can save lives.

atmosphere change in the Maldives

Climate change has recently become an increasingly necessary issue among both the citizen of Maldives and the international community concerned with the fact that the Maldives will be one of the first nations severely affected by the phenomenon. These concerns led to change of climate being addressed recently in a meeting held between the leader of Maldives, President Mohamed Nasheed, and the Indian Prime Minister's special Envoy on climate Change, Mr. Shyam Saran.

How is the change of climate affecting the Maldives
The Maldives, an island country made up of atolls comprising a total of 1,192 islands, is known for being the lowest country in the world, where the highest land is only 2.3 m (71/2 ft) above sea level, and the national mean is just 1.5 m above sea level. Over the last century, global sea levels have risen about 20 centimetres (8 in) because of climate change and added rises of the ocean are predicted, which could seriously threaten the existence of Maldives. In November 2008, President Mohamed Nasheed expressed his concerns about global warming and the possibility of many of the islands being inundated with water from rising sea levels.

News From Maldives

India also affected by climate change
Noting not only that the fate of both the Maldives and India are linked to change of climate, but also that any drastic change threatens the survival of millions of citizen living in the coastal areas of said countries, both President Nasheed and special Envoy Mr. Shyam Saran agreed that both Maldives and India could work together in combating climate change.

Change of climate Policies
Presenting some of the Indian government's policies on environment and climate change, the President was encouraged by their efforts and added stressed the importance of cooperation and withhold between both countries in working against the threats of climate change. President Nasheed also praised the Indian government's policies to withhold new technological advancements in the field of renewable energy, believing that India and Indian clubs could be a leader in the field of renewable vigor and environment-friendly technologies.

Adaptation was also a topic dwelled upon by the President and the special envoy, and they discussed that the aim adaptation should be to find ways of achieving best standards of living straight through sustainable development. Praising the Maldives and its policies on adaptation, both parties found that both countries possessed similar policies on the subject. As a final note, special Envoy Saran added that India was prepared to share its new environmentally-friendly and renewable vigor technologies with the Maldives.

The meeting was as a matter of fact a fruitful one, and it ended with discussions of how to added strengthen the relations between the Maldives and India, and agreeing on a policy of helping each other in the fight against climate change.

Storm Drain Seal Covers - An Easy explication to safe the Environment From Storm Water and Spills

Storm water can be a serious threat to the environment. That's especially the case if the water is draining from areas like parking lots, car fix shops, or any type of market facility, where hydrocarbons, oils, or chemicals might have leaked and are sitting on the ground. During a storm, oily and chemical residues will be swept up in the run-off, which then drains into the ground water - Unless something is done to preclude that from happening.

And what can be done to keep the groundwater safe? The storm drains in the principal areas can be covered. And now, a new generation of storm drain seal covers make that task very easy and economical.

News From Maldives

A new generation of storm drain seal covers:

For example, there's the new Drain Cover Seal & Spill Stopper and Blocker Ii, which has a feature that makes it even more versatile and easier to apply than the quarterly kind: It's reversible.

These covers are made out of tough and tacky polyurethane without any fillers whatsoever. It's the fact that they're tacky on both sides that makes them reversible - and with that they can generate a durable seal no matter which side you're using.

Easy to keep handy:

They're also much lighter in weight than original products, so you can keep them handy and use them at a moment's observation in the event of chemical spill emergencies.

Can be reused:

But their beneficial life doesn't end with one use. After washing them and replacing the plastic film they originally came with, you can roll them on the tube and put them right back into their original container. And with that, they will be ready for action when another spill should occur.

Resistant to chemicals:

Rubbers and plastics can disintegrate when they come into touch with unavoidable chemicals. Polyurethane is unyielding to a much wider range of chemicals, solvents, and oils. That makes seal covers made out of polyurethane the ideal solution for protecting the environment from solvents, oils and chemicals.

Drain cover seal protectors are also ready in a range of sizes, from 18 inches all the way to 48 inches, to furnish customized security for any size drain covers. They are ready in round as well as in quadrate versions. In addition, customized seal protectors are also available.

How large should storm drain seal covers be? A good rule of thumb: Seals should be 6" larger than the drains they are designed to cover. So do a exiguous study and tally up the sizes you'll need to be prepared.

Pangolins: The Scaly Anteaters

Pangolins are also known as scaly ant eaters. They are the members of Class Mammalia and order Pholidota. They share the house Manidae with only one genus Manis and 8 species. A whole of species of pangolins have come to be extinct today. The body of pangolins is covered by scales made of keratin and they are the only mammals to show this feature. They are distributed in the tropical regions of Africa and Asia. The name pangolin has been derived from a Malay word pengguling meaning something that rolls up. They are nocturnal animals which use their well industrialized sense of small to capture insects. The long-tailed pangolin is also active during the day time. They spend most of their time in the day by sleeping and remain curled up in the form of a ball.

Earlier they were kept together with the anteaters, sloths and the armadillos as they show features similar with them also in the order Xenarthra. But the fossil studies indicate that they are close relatives of order Carnivora. The physical appearance of pangolins is marked by the presence of large, hardened plate like-scales over their bodies. The scales in the juveniles are soft but they come to be hardened as the animal matures. Scales are made up of keratin. The nails as well as the claws of the tetrapod vertebrates are also made up of keratin. They are also compared with the walking pine cone. When disturbed they have the property to curl in the form of a ball and the scales act as bony armour and the face gets tucked up under the tail. Scales are sharp like a razor and furnish extra security serving as organs of offence and defence. The front claws are very long and are not convenient for walking so the animal uses fore-paws which are also curled inside while walking. They also secrete a noxious smelling acid from the glands situated near anus similar to the spray of skunk. The legs are short and are provided with sharp claws which are used for burrowing into the mounds of ants and termites as well as for climbing.

News From Maldives

The body length may part from 30-100 cm and the females are smaller than males. The tongue is very elongated and extends into the abdominal cavity. Due to convergent evolution the tongue is not attached to the hyoid bone. Larger species can expand their tongues as much as 40 cm with a diameter of only 0.5 cm. The section of brain that is connected to the capability of solving problem is very developed. Arboreal species live in hollow trees while the ground dwelling species dig tunnels private up to the depth of 3.5 m. They are also good swimmers. They lack teeth so unable to chew their food. The open the mounds of termite and ants with their front claws and then insert their long sticky tongues in them. The tongue is always moistened with saliva which helps in swallowing as well. Tree pangolins have strong nails to hang from the trees.

Gestation period is of 120-150 days. African females give birth to a single offspring at a time while Asian females can give birth up to three young ones. The weight of the young one may range from 80-450 g with soft scales over the body which becomes hard later on. The young one clings to the tail of the mom for about 2-4 weeks. Weaning may continue for about three months and they attain sexual maturity in two years. They are hunted in many parts of Africa and are popular as bush meat. They are also in great examine in China as their meat forms a very popular delicacy for the Chinese people. Chinese believe that the scales of pangolins cut swelling, promote blood circulation and heighten milk production in the breast of the feeding mothers. Deforestation is also responsible for their population declination. By the end of July 2010, about 1,800 kg of pangolin scales were exported.

They are at the risk of entering the category of endangered.

The Flooding in Australia

The news continues to come in. Flood ravaged parts of Australia. It is awful! I am so grateful to be both miles from the worst area and safe on very high ground, here in the little town of Mullumbimby, New South Wales. My heart goes out to those effected.

What can one say to ease their pain and their loss? Thank goodness the Au government is doing their very best at rescue and intervention, but the grief, the shock, the great losses remain and will have to be faced for a long time to come.

News From Maldives

When I look straight through energetic eyes, I see the planet doing what planets do, shrugging, shaking, and responding energetically to all she has experienced over time. She is attempting to come to balance. Sadly, some of those attempts turn into flash floods, unseasonable rain, and overflowing rivers. Some of these anomalous weather conditions sweep away houses and leave death and mayhem behind. From a personality perspective, I weep for those involved. From the energetic perspective, I understand and I accept what is unfolding.

We are in the midst of a very intense duration of transition and adjustment at every level of reality, from our governmental and fiscal systems to our natural ecological ones. A new equilibrium must be achieved and will, in time, be attained. In the meantime, we can only pray that the changes will be gentle, that as few beings as inherent will be harmed or lost, and that equilibrium will be achieved sooner rather than later. The more balanced, energetically, each of us can remain, as we move straight through our lives, even as we face unimaginable challenges, the more speedily and gradually the shift will occur. For when our human energies are wild, chaotic and inharmonious, then nature reflects those energies and terrible devastation occurs. We have not been good to the planet; we have abused and overused her gifts and now we are paying the price.

Let us commit ourselves to a clear attitude and balanced energetic state of being, no matter what the circumstances and to focusing on what nothing else but matters. We can then come to be part of an ever growing force attracting harmony and balance. Let us reconsider how we can hold the planet and all her beings in our loving embrace, as the winds and waters of change nothing else but and figuratively sweep our houses clean.

Canvas Bags - Do Your Part For the Environment

The affects of global warming are being felt everywhere from the North Pole to Australia the speed of change is alarming scientists. The problem is only going to get worse with developing countries like China and India set to produce more and more Co2 gases. Believe it or not we all can do our diminutive part in protecting the environment by naturally changing a few of our habits. By development the switch from plastic and paper bags to canvas bags we can all save millions of trees from being cut down each year. Plastic shopping bags are just as worse they're made out of a byproduct of petroleum which is used in so many of our products we use today. The problem with petroleum based products is that when it's converted into products like plastic bags and packaging they never break-down leaving behind a mess in our landfills and waterways. If we are serious about recovery our forests from deforestation and recovery the planet we have to make the switch from paper bags to canvas bags.

Canvas bags are a great alternate to the suitable shopping bag as the statistics relating to the consumption of shopping bags is staggering. Each year American's on mean use about 10 billion paper grocery bags which equates to around 14 million trees that are cut down. The estimate of plastic bags we use each year is even higher as most market offer us a plastic bag for the smallest of purchases. The great thing about canvas bags is that they're more durable than the plastic shopping bag. You can fit a lot more groceries into a canvas bag as opposed to a plastic bag which you need to duplicate bag for heavier items.

News From Maldives

Many people including myself all the time understanding using paper was good than plastic bags but paper in some ways is even worse than plastic. From an power perspective the typical canvas bags uses 14 times less power than plastic bags and 39 times less power than paper bags these figures are based on the canvas bag development 500 trips. Five hundred trips would be a modest shape because the mean life span of canvas bags is around a year and half. Plastic and paper bags are able to be recycled but the power costs are highly high. It takes a lot of needful power to turn these products into other reusable products. At the end of the day canvas bags are a smarter greener selection and we should all be using them.

The Bald Eagle Defies Extinction

Many Americans feared the extinction of their national symbol, but the bald eagle has been slowing growing in numbers and largely recovered from its earlier decline. The bald eagle was found to be endangered in 1940 and a law was passed, the Bald and Golden Eagle safety Act, to protect it from hunting. Once the threat from hunting was gone, the species found its numbers declining added by the ingestion of Ddt. In 1963 the numbers of breeding pairs was only 417, important to the 1973 inclusion in the list of endangered species.

Instead of the thinkable, extinction of the species, the bald eagle has executed a miraculous rise in the whole of breeding pairs. Today the whole of bald eagle breeding pairs is approximately 10,000 and it is no longer listed on the endangered species list. The birds will not be abandoned by wildlife experts, however. The bald eagle's numbers will be monitored for a few years to make sure they do not begin to decline again. If the monitoring shows a decline in the whole of breeding pairs, experts can then move to get the bird back onto the endangered species list.

News From Maldives

There are legal protections for the bald eagle even without the endangered species list, such as the Bald and Golden Eagle safety Act. There is also safety afforded to the eagles from an act passed in 1918- the Migratory Bird Treaty Act. This treaty ensured that not only were migratory birds protected in the United States, but from hunting and trade in any other countries as well. This act provides safety in Canada and Mexico for the eagles that migrate over the border and makes it illegal for their nest and eggs, and even their feathers, to be bought or sold.

Bald eagles have added benefited from the Ddt ban of 1972. The toxic chemical penetrated the whole food chain, resulting in the deaths of eagles as well as many other bird species. This pesticide spread from fields to waterways and then to eagles. When the eagles caught fish from these lakes and streams, the fish had already been contaminated. Ddt kept bald eagles from being able to originate eggshells with sufficient calcium to keep them strong sufficient to withhold the embryos. Ddt devastated the bald eagle population, as mother eagles were unable to incubate the thin eggs, often cracking them in the nest. With Ddt now gone, the whole of bald eagles can continue to grow.

How to Make Biodiesel From Algae

While awareness of biodiesel and running diesel engines on vegetable oil is growing, you still have to get the oil from somewhere. The conventional choice is to buy vegetable oil, or take used vegetable oil from a restaurant. However, there is someone else possibility: produce your own oil, with algae.

Algae

News From Maldives

Algae are a form of "simple," photosynthetic, and aquatic organisms. The most complicated forms of algae are ordinarily called "seaweed," though algae range in size and complexity from unicellular forms to this more advanced form. They are called "simple" because they lack many complicated features found in land plants. The most beneficial feature of algae for our purposes is that algae produce necessary quantities of natural oils. In fact, there are estimates that the yield from algae can be 200 times greater than that from a comparable area of other sources of conventional vegetable oils.

Algal Oils

Oil from algae is quite similar to oils produced by conventional oil crops and oilseeds. Chemists ordinarily do not speak of oil, which is a tasteless word for a vaguely defined group of chemicals. Biological "oils," or lipids, are chemicals called triglycerides, composed of a central glycerol unit with three fatty acids attached. Chemically, biological lipids are similar to petroleum to the extent that both groups of chemicals are based on carbon and hydrogen.

The main question with using biological lipids as fuels is the fact that lipids are much more viscous (or defiant to "flowing," in layman's terms) than the refined petrochemicals which make up gasoline, diesel fuel, kerosene, and other petroleum-based fuels. As a result, unrefined lipids will not be completely burned off in an engine, and leftover product which did not burn can regain in the engine.

Biodiesel from Algae Oil

The process of manufacture biodiesel from oil is all about lowering the viscosity of oil by removing the glycerol; the process of converting algal oils is the same as that with any conventional vegetable oils. Chemists refer to this process as "transesterification," which in the case of biodiesel means splitting the triglycerides, separating the glycerol, which will settle, and converting the fatty acids into a solution of methyl esters, called biodiesel. This is done by mixing the biological oil with sodium methoxide.

Cultivating Algae

Algae can be cultivated at home using a gadget known as a "photobioreactor," or a bioreactor which includes a source of light. A basic reactor can be made from clear plastic tubes or plastic bottles or a plastic holder of some sort. Algae need water, carbon dioxide, and light to grow; the reactor will comprise water into which has been settled a culture of algae. Depending on the type of reactor chosen, algae can be cultivated continuously or in batches. The light source can be an Led, a phosphorescent bulb, or natural sunlight.

Getting Oil from the Algae

The manufacture of biodiesel involves a number of disunion processes, even more so in the case of biodiesel from algae: separating the algae from the solution, separating the oil from the algae, and separating the glycerol from the biodiesel after the reaction is complete. All of these disunion processes can be done simply with a centrifuge.

Conclusions

While even biodiesel isn't quite a free lunch, getting biodiesel from algae can bring you one step closer. The product you get from algae-produced biodiesel is equivalent to that you get from other oils and the conversion of algal oil is the same as the conversion of any other oil; the algae are simply a renewable source of oil. Algae are quite safe, being ordinarily used in commercial products including food.

Drinking Water containers - Why Plastic Bottles Have Got to Go!

The late, great comedian, George Carlin, used to do a comedy bit about how he saw people, anywhere he turned, carrying a water bottle. He punctuated this hilarious habit with an exasperated question: "Just when did everybody get so thirsty?" As funny as this was, his keen notice about the increase of population carrying their own drinking water packaging points to a more serious problem: plastic water bottles have become one of the biggest sources of pollution in the U.S. Plastic bottles have got to go!

In new years bottled water has become one of the giants of the beverage industry. As Americans continue to request clean drinking water, this business has gone full-throttle to ensure that each and every man is able to have their own drinking water container, when and where they want it. Unfortunately, "full-throttle" means that over 60,000,000 plastic bottles are produced, movable and disposed of Every Day in the U.S. Alone!

News From Maldives

Don't get me wrong. I like having the convenience of drinking clean water from my own drinking water container. However, there is no evidence that bottled water is any cleaner than most tap water. The government doesn't even require bottled water be any safer or purer than tap water. So what you're buying (and I've been guilty of it too) is a slick advertising belief that makes it seem as if this bottled water just bubbled up from a mountain spring. And then you're stuck with having to dispose of this polluting plastic.

So does this mean that personal drinking water packaging are a bad idea? indeed not! You can still drink clean, filtered water conveniently from your own personal drinking water container. All you have to do is use drinking water packaging that have been designed to be used over and over again. The best reusable packaging are made from glass.

Besides being 100% recyclable, glass packaging have other advantages. Glass preserves the taste and clarity N Ѵਹ of filtered water. Water stored in plastic bottles risks becoming contaminated from plastic byproducts, like Bpa and phthalate. As these substances leach from the plastic, the water loses its taste and purity. Glass doesn't have this problem.

And let's not forget that refilling and reusing these drinking water packaging is going to mean more money in your pocket. If you are buying bottled water on a quarterly basis, it can get expensive.

There is also a psychological benefit to using glass drinking water containers When you're thirsty and seeing in the fridge for something good to drink, and you spot a crystal-clear, cold glass holder of water, you're going to instinctively reach for it. Drinking more clean, healthy water is one of the best ways to promote good health.

These non-polluting, drinking water packaging are facilely available from most reputable water filtration principles providers. You can find these providers, like I did, with just some simple research. When you're drinking filtered water, conveniently, from your own reusable drinking water holder you will be doing yourself and our planet a big favor.

How to Keep the World Clean

With things like global warming advent into question, habitancy colse to the world are no ifs ands or buts more worried about the future. However, what most of them do not comprehend is that their choices help or hinder the fight for the future. Some habitancy select to buy canoe accessories and kayak rigging in order to protect the environment from unnecessary motor boating but helping the environment can be a lot easier than that. There are millions of little things that every person can do that will help the environment immensely.

One way to help the environment is to recycle your plastics, paper and glass. This is something that every person can do because recycling bins are free and they are picked up by government garbage companies. Call your local trash town and ask for them to drop off a recycling bin at your house. Then all you have to do is go through the things that you throw away every day and settle if they are trash or recyclables. This is fairly easy to do because most items now have a recycling label that tells you if they can be recycled or not. Spread the word to your friends and extended family and get every person you know to recycle. One someone is great, but having an whole neighborhood or even an whole city dedicated to recycling would be amazing.

News From Maldives

Another way to convert the environment for the better is to voyage in ways other than car. There are fullness of ways to do this such as riding a bike, taking the bus, or walking to wherever you need to go. The bus limits the amount of carbon dioxide (the whole intuit you should use your car the least amount) to one vehicle for many habitancy rather than a bunch of vehicles for the same amount of people. Likewise, riding your bike or walking gets ride of call carbon dioxide and is by far the best for the environment.

Lastly, you can protect the environment by joining assorted government agencies colse to the country and working for them. This is the most dedicated of all ideas and takes the most time and energy. By being on a committee that is in payment of protecting the environment, you can enact a bunch of changes that will help preclude climate destruction today and tomorrow. These committees are primary to the continuation of the world because they provide the latest and best ideas on how to keep the world safe.

In the end, keeping the environment safe and clean is not an option, it is an obligation. habitancy in any place need to do their part to keep the world at its best so that we can enjoy living here for years to come. If we keep going at the rate we are, the world is not going to last long at all and we will have no where to live. These little ideas and changes are easy to accomplish but their results will provide the earth with years and years to continue.

Dealing With the Potentially Devastating Effects of Water Pollution

Have you ever concept about what you're easily doing when you run that chemical bathtub cleaner down your drain? It seems harmless, doesn't it. Yet, the far-reaching effects of that one small action, when coupled with the similar actions of millions of other habitancy worldwide, can help generate water pollution that even the newest technology won't be able to clean fast or wholly enough to furnish all the clean water for drinking and sanitation that we all need. Maybe these facts would hit home more effortlessly if habitancy realized what the effects of pollution easily are.

Of course, not all water pollution can be blamed on you and me. Agriculture and business both lead heavily to the problem, even with the tightening of regulations that many governments have enacted. For example, rain picks up silt and debris and washes it into rivers, lakes, and streams. If the silt is filled with farm chemicals, such as pesticides and fertilizers, all of that can be washed into our water sources and taken downstream where it poisons or smothers fish and water animals. Not only aquatic lifeforms are effected, either. Other birds and animals, together with humans, drink from the contaminated waters and get sick and die, too.

News From Maldives

It's easy to see how water pollution affects those who live in countries where there isn't enough clean water. Waterborne diseases are rampant, because parasites, bacteria, and other microorganisms which cause diseases are transmitted straight through the water habitancy finally drink, cook with, and bath in. This is particularly true of water resources that have been contaminated via the pathogens that are present in materials excreted by humans and animals.

Some of these diseases contain typhoid, hookworm, cholera, cancer, and diarrhea, and pollutants also cause irreparable damage to the liver, kidneys and heart, lead to blood disorders, and cause problems with the nervous system. Of course, many of these illnesses and disorders can lead to death.

The United States is not exempt from these problems. For example, the Gulf of Mexico and Boston Harbor are both so full of pollution that it will cost taxpayers millions, and even billions, of dollars to attempt a clean-up. If enough of the water in the world becomes polluted, we could be faced with water shortages all over the planet. Obviously, the best solution to curb the effects of water pollution is for every person to come to be aware of the problem and take steps now to stop polluting our water.

Global atmosphere Change, the Bible, And Science - A Book reveal

According to daily news reports, earth is suffering from severe global warming problems. The oceans are going to rise about 26 inches over the next century, our coastal areas, including many large cities, will be flooded, and new beaches will form many miles inland from their current locations. Every new weather event is blamed on global warming. Modern hurricanes, tornadoes, volcanic eruptions -- you name it -- they are the ensue of global warming. As a result, the Us consummate Court in 2007 [Justice Stevens, "Massachusetts v Epa," Us consummate Court, No. 05-1120, 2 Apr 2007, belief of the Court; and Chief Justice Roberts and Justice Scalia, "Massachusetts v Epa," Us consummate Court, No. 05-1120, 2 Apr 2007, Dissenting Opinions], declared carbon dioxide a pollutant gas that can be regulated by the Epa.

But also, this summer, we learned that the previous Director of the University of East Anglia's climate explore Unit (whose data started this whole global warming band wagon) admitted that there has been no "statistically significant" global warming over the last 15 years (from 1995-2010) [Petre, Jonathan, Uk Daily Mail: "Climategate U-turn as Scientist at Centre of Row Admits: There has Been No Global Warming Since 1995," 11 Aug 2010]. In light of this revelation, the medicinal actions taken by our consummate Court and all the dire calls for immediate activity appear to be a wee bit premature.

News From Maldives

This book represents the author's entry into the global warming debate. As a Christian, the author's first inquire was: What does the Bible have to say about global warming? His own initial inclination was to respond that it has nothing to say about the subject. But then, he embarked on a study to learn if and what the Bible says about it. Turns out, the Bible has quite a lot to say on the subject. In expanding to the fact that the Bible says God created the heavens and the earth, the Bible teaches that God maintains the daily workings of the earth, "by Him all things consist," and finally, it says that God controls the wind and the rain. This final point directly impacts global warming issues. Operate of the wind and the rain equates to Operate of all storm systems and sunny days, and more specifically, the weather and the climate! Three chapters in the book cover these three points.

The author devoted one episode to think process Operate systems, which are needed by those who are attempting to originate climate convert computer models. The earth's weather systems appear to be self-regulating. We don't need to understand the details of self-regulating systems for them to function properly. They do it all by themselves -- hence the name. To model self-regulating systems in a computer, however, we need to know the spoton details and the interactions between their discrete phenomena. We can't model weather or climate without insight how all of the phenomena interact. Then, to make a valid computer model, we must accurately duplicate the interrelationships between all of the discrete phenomena that work simply in the real world. Sunlight, cloud cover, temperatures, winds, water vapor and water sources, etc., must all be taken into account and the modelers must properly simulate how they all interact with each other. Process Operate engineers must set thorough gain values into their controllers for permissible self-operating principles controls. There is no need to shape out any gains when a principles is self-regulating. It simply, and automatically, takes care of and regulates itself. But modelers must properly assess all gains that Operate the interactions between the climate variables in their simulation models.

The author devotes another episode to the notice of computer models. As a computer modeler himself, the author knows the discrete pitfalls that can preclude the amelioration of thriving models. Computer models are uncomplicated representations of real phenomena. Sometimes, they are too simple. Sometimes the required mathematics are involved and large involved computer programs and long computing times define a model. Sometimes the required math is beyond the capabilities of the modelers so some desired phenomena cannot be included in the model. Sometimes, wrong assumptions are made when trying to understand and model involved phenomena. Sometimes important phenomena are missed in a computer model because the modelers didn't comprehend they were important. Etc. All sorts of pitfalls can hinder the success of computer models.

Part of the author's teaching responsibilities, in expanding to teaching process Operate courses, was to teach commercial fuels and combustion systems. His first job in commerce was as a combustion engineer, and he has spent more than twenty years teaching engineering students and graduate process engineers how to Operate commercial fuels and burners, as well as how to accomplish all principal calculations. For example, the author spent a lot of time teaching students how to guess air and flue gas compositions, flame temperatures, and heat contents. The most important phenomenon from that branch that deals with climate issues is known as the "latent heat of vaporization" of liquid water as it vaporizes to form water vapor. The "latent heat" (for short) soaks up astronomical amounts of heat in the process of vaporizing water. It is the biggest absorber of solar power on the earth because the earth's covering is covered with an approximately endless supply of liquid water. It takes much more heat to vaporize an endless supply of water than it does to heat the 0.04% of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. The greenhouse gas that has the most ensue on atmospheric air temperatures is water vapor. But we can do nothing about water vapor. Water is out there in abundant supply all over the earth and it vaporizes and condenses agreeing to temperatures and ready sunlight at the earth's covering and in the atmosphere. Sample calculations in the book show the magnitude of heat that can be absorbed by water, compared with the number of heat that can be absorbed by the tiny ration of carbon dioxide in the air.

Another episode in the book considers some of the natural cycles that surround us --that we also take for granted. The most important of these is the oxygen/carbon dioxide cycle. Humans and animals inhale oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide. Plants use carbon dioxide during photosynthesis and give off oxygen as a byproduct. As the human habitancy has grown to astronomical numbers, the plant habitancy has kept pace to enunciate the natural balance. More carbon dioxide enhances the growth of plants. Less carbon dioxide hinders plant growth. agreeing to evolutionary theories, the earth has been here for millions of years, and this equilibrium has been maintained all this while. But now, the combustion of fossil fuels (which we believe came from compacted plant life in the first place) is supposedly ruining the planet. Plants are used by humans and animals as a food source, so when slightly higher levels of carbon dioxide and slightly warmer temperatures encourage the speed of growth of plants, that seems to be a good thing. Having conditions that improve the growth of plants, including fruits, vegetables, and grains, means that we will continue to have enough food supplies even while populations continue to grow. But when carbon dioxide is determined to be a pollutant gas and attempts are being made to sequester it from commercial waste gas streams (and convert it from a form that can partake in this natural balance, to an inorganic form that cannot), the intelligentsia want to force us to make changes that will sway this natural cycle and potentially alter the success of our food supplies (by reducing atmospheric carbon dioxide.) Why? Because of a bogus problem that they cooked up -- called global warming.

Another episode discusses ramifications of the Copernican Principle, which was understood by the church to be a hint that the earth and mankind are not important -- they do not reside at the center of the universe. Copernicus died before the church could come down on him for his hint that the sun, not the earth, lies at the center of our solar system. But Galileo, who observed with his telescopes the accuracy of Copernicus' statement, was declared a heretic by the church. Fast send to today, and one realizes that all things is reversed. Political correctness agrees with the church's insight of Copernicus' statement --but they like it. They understand it to say, "We're not special." [Gonzalez, Guillermo, and Richards, Jay W., The Privileged Planet, 2004, Regnery Publishing, Inc., Washington, Dc, p.286.] With political correctness agreeing that we're not special, they can truly maintain the "science" of Darwinian evolution, render the creation story to be a fairy tale, and enunciate that mankind is not special -- we all evolved from a glob of snot floating on the ocean -- and that's not special.

Yet another episode is devoted to discussing how interesting Design, Id, impacts this debate. Many who maintain Id are attempting to prove logically, and without any mention of God, that intelligence was required to originate the worlds. In their book, Gonzalez and Richards concluded that earth was designed and located here to facilitate mankind's exploration of the galaxy. But even they steer clear of any mention of God as the designer. In fact, they state that proof of Id and proof of the existence of God are two very distinctly distinct proofs. But the courts and the intelligentsia link Id and creationism. Id is a determined to be a form of creationism and as such, it is a principles and not fact nor science. Why does this matter?

It matters because to those who are trying to build climate convert models that are supposed to predict phenomena a century or more from now, one must assume that all relevant phenomena then will behave as they do today, and as they did always behave -- even eons ago. That requires belief in uniformitarianism which is very closely connected to evolution. In both, all things industrialized moderately over eons of time. All things happened then exactly as they do now and as they always will. So uniformitarian assumptions are required to write computer models that will predict climate a century from now.

Another episode asks the inquire (better late than never) "Is it even inherent to predict climate 10, 50, 100 years from now?" Professor Cotton asked that very inquire recently. His conclusion: No, it is not possible! [Cotton, William R., "Is climate truly predictable on 10-50 year time table?", Colorado State University, 20 Jul 2010, Powerpoint presentation.] Note the date on his presentation: July, 2010. Why wasn't this inquire asked by someone -- Anyone! --at the start of the global warming brouhaha? If it was, its respond was buried or ignored. But like I said, best late than never.

One final point which the author asked is this: If God controls the wind, rain, storms, weather, etc., how can computer models take His Operate into account? When a owner in a yield plant is a loose cannon, changing the plant doing on a daily basis for no apparent reason, he or she must be determined an input variable in the equation used by those whose responsibility it is to Operate that facility. This author has known two such managers and they were totally unpredictable. Go home on a Friday afternoon and all things is working fairly smoothly in the plant. Arrive Monday morning to find that all things has changed. convert orders were issued Saturday or Sunday and all is different. How does one predict that, or even take such actions into account? Then -- and this is the bigger question -- if God is truly in payment of the weather as the Bible says He is, how does whatever account for His Operate in a computer model? After all, the Bible asks, "For who hath known the mind of the Lord?" [Rom 11:34] Mankind truly does not know the Lord's mind! This seems to advise that global climate convert phenomena are unpredictable!

So if God created everything, and God controls and maintains everything, but in particular, God controls the wind and the rain, how can modelers account for His control? They Cannot!

This book addresses the global climate convert turn over from the point of view of an engineering professor who happens to also be a Christian. The "political correctness" crowd doesn't allow arguments of faith (in general), and of Christianity (in particular), to cloud their issues, but in this case, if the Bible is correct, it will Not be inherent for man to predict what will happen to the climate a century from now.

It does Not appear that the intelligentsia truly cares about the oxygen/carbon dioxide balance, or even global warming. It appears they want to use this issue as a smoke screen to accomplish other political goals. And that's bad!

Finally, and most astonishingly, this whole turn over is based on the installation that we have been and are in the throes of catastrophic global warming. But the explore middle point at the center of the global warming turn over has said that we have Not experienced any "statistically significant" global warming during the last 15 years. That means measured temperatures have been chattering up and down over that time period, but the median ensue is a horizontal line -- indicating no climatic characteristic convert at all! So the world is arguing about the consequences of a non-existent earth-shattering problem and our leaders are planning all sorts of desperate and menacing solutions to a non-existent problem! Go figure!

A lot more details of these and other interesting points are given and discussed in this book. Enjoy!

Biosphere Technology - The Green solution of the hereafter

Biosphere technology is the solution of tomorrow made ready today. It involves cutting edge gasification processes to change solid wastes into electric power. It is futuristic in the sense that it can exceed the efficiency of current brown energy sources while at the same time also surpassing the ecological friendliness of today's green energy sources. It is like next generation energy source that has combined the desirable traits of both brown and green technologies while leaving behind the unwanted ones.

Biosphere technology makes use of technologically developed biosphere machines to eliminate solid wastes and produce clean electricity as a by-product. It will forever revolutionize waste-to-energy technologies and empower the sustainability manufactures to the extent that consumers will assuredly start to switch from approved sources such as coal and oil to cleaner ones. Biosphere machines have been tested under strict international standards and have broken the records for the highest energy-to-mass conversion ratio, lowest waste-to-feedstock ratio, and highest recyclables-to-waste ratio. With these statistics alone, it is at a fully separate league when compared to any other energy technology.

News From Maldives

The incommunicable behind biosphere technology's powerful energy-to-mass conversion ratio of a maximum of 97% is its sophisticated five-stage biosphere gasification process. The process subjects the feedstock to very high but controlled temperatures that automatically adjust to the optimal temperature to break down the wastes. The resulting particles are then added processed and are manipulated to transform into very hot steam of pure energy. The steam is then added manipulated to turn into fuel for generators that produce electricity. The resulting electricity is so productive it can be sold commercially. It is by far the only green electricity that surpasses brown electricity in terms of efficiency.

The presuppose why biosphere has such a low waste-to-feedstock ratio is because of the structure of biosphere machines. These machines are integrated with an air tight chamber that houses the gasification process. The chambers do not allow even air particles such as oxygen and carbon gases to pass through. Hence during the conversion of trash into energy, no greenhouse gas emissions or gaseous wastes are released into the atmosphere. Coupled with the high energy-to-mass conversion rate, this is by all means; of course the least polluting energy generation process man has ever seen.

Biosphere technology also boasts the highest recyclables-to-waste ratio because of the productive way it decomposes waste. Of the minute solid by-products produced, up to 90% can be recycled and resold into the market to offset part of the costs incurred in the carrying out of the biosphere machines. This is the highest measure of recyclable wastes an energy technology has ever possessed. This is an additional one highlight that proves that this green technology is assuredly the greenest of all green solutions.

Biosphere technology is just what the world and we need in order to get back something that we have lost for centuries, a green planet. The planet has taken care of our kind for so long and the least could do is take care of it. And the first step is preventing the pollution that is like a tumor enduringly and relentlessly devastating mum Nature.

Use of Radioisotopes in Nuclear treatment

One of the new branches of curative science is the nuclear medicine. Also discrete elements nuclear medicine uses radiation for generating diagnostic facts relating to functioning of exact organs. Such radiation is also used for therapeutic medicine of unwell organs. Such diagnostic processes have now become a habit affair in curative science.

Use of Radioisotopes and Radiotherapy

News From Maldives

Radioisotopes for radiotherapy are severally used in the medicine of -

• Cancer of any type;

• Tumors and other external and internal disfigurations in human anatomy;

• It targets the damaged, effected, or unwell cells and destroys them;

• Since use is painless the demands are growing rapidly.

Use of Radioisotopes in Nuclear Medicine

In nuclear medicine the radioisotopes are used for detecting the exact functions of the organs or for treating the diseases. The reasons for its total use are

• analysis is quick and correct about the illness of the patient;

• Organs like thyroid, bones, heart, and liver can get damaged pretty authentically and disorders in their functioning can be detected using radiations;

• As many as five Nobel laureates were connected with amelioration of radioisotopes based detecting methods in curative science;

• More than ten thousand hospitals across the globe use radioisotopes in medicine;

• 90% of these uses are for diagnostic purposes;

• coarse radioisotope used in analysis is the technetium-99 that is used in over thirty million procedures a year accounting for over 80% of all medicine procedures in the world.

Frequencies of Radioisotopes Use

26% of the world people resides in advanced countries. Frequency of use of nuclear medicines and therefore radioisotopes in these countries come to 1.9% per annum. Over 18 million frequencies are used in United States alone for nearby 305 million people. Such frequencies in Europe come to about ten million for 500 million people. Use of radioisotopes comes to nearby 560,000 in Australia for 21 million people.

Specific Use of Radioisotopes in curative Procedures

36% of the total radiation exposure is used for the computed X-ray tomography or Ct scan as they are popularly known. According to the Us National Council on the Radiation safety and Measurements record of the year 2009, the exposure to radiation in Us has increased from 3.6 millisievert to that of 6.2 millisieverts during 1980-2010.

Tips to Help Go Green in the Office

Eco-friendly cleaning supplies, recycled paper and vigor star electronics are sought by consumers who buy their green products online.

Earth Day serves as a reminder that that there are ways to go green in the office, too. Helping save the planet is easier than ever, which mean conscientious businesses can get all things from eco-friendly cleaning supplies, recycled paper and other green products online.

News From Maldives

Where to start salvage the planet? How about with some oldies but goodies. The pervasiveness of email and texting influenced more offices to try to go paperless. When paper is needed, businesses can go green in the office by using recycled paper in printers and copy machines, then recycling used papers by putting them in plastic recycle bins.

Sticking with the printers and copiers, paper isn't the only part of the equation that can be recycled. Ink and toner cartridges can be made from recycled plastic. Paper and cartridges are well found on the internet at sites that sell green products online.

Let's move from the copy room to the cleaning closet, which can be filled with eco-friendly cleaning supplies. From soaps that are biodegradable to detergents that won't harm the planet, limiting the chemicals used by the cleaning crew is a great way to go green in the office.

Office breakrooms offer an often overlooked place to be environmentally conscious. Aside from keeping the breakroom stocked with eco-friendly cleaning supplies, stocking the cabinets with eco-friendly kitchen supplies can help save the planet.

Many breakrooms have cabinets stuffed with paper plates, cups and plastic utensils. Employees can go green in the office by limiting the use of these disposable items by bringing their own reusable coffee mugs, plates and utensils to the workplace.

When disposable plates and utensils are necessary, purchase ones made from recycled plastic or paper. And like the paper and eco-friendly cleaning supplies mentioned above, purchasing these items in bulk saves on packaging, therefore eliminating waste.

How these products are purchased can also help the planet. By purchasing these green products online, businesses can eliminate transportation to and from the store, thereby salvage gas and limiting carbon emissions. Many online sites now offer free shipping, too.

Businesses that go green in the office don't need to limit themselves to products they purchase. It's been estimated that more than a billion dollars worth of electricity is wasted each year by computers and printers that are left turned on during night hours when they are not in use.

Likewise, the climatic characteristic at the office can be adjusted just like many eco-friendly citizens of the planet do in their houses. Limiting the use of heaters and air conditioners during the off hours and weekends will greatly reduce the need for electricity and offers the added benefit of salvage money.

So don't forget to purchase green products online; then turn off the computer, turn down the thermostat, and head covering to enjoy Earth Day.

Stop Pollution - Help Save The World By Not Using Electricity From Fossil Fuel

Many galvanic fellowships and other electricity suppliers have been using fossil fuels as a means in producing electricity. This form of energy is a natural source but is now facing impending depletion as this source of energy is not a renewable kind. Maybe not now but it is still bound to happen. Fossil fuels are found and produced from deteriorated living organisms such as plants and animals from the years that have passed as far as the discovery of production of electricity from fossil fuels. Natural gas, coal and petroleum oil are the three forms of energy that can be harvested from these fuels. These energies are easy to extract, costs only a dinky whole of money and are very ready anytime but for about 60 years only. With that said, a new energy source that is both renewable and sufficient must be used for producing electricity in case fossil fuels are no longer available.

The kinds of energies that are harvested from fossil fuels are able to furnish us with electricity that is used by appliances among other things that can be found in a household. Two of the most produced product from these fuels is electricity and gasoline. Other product from fossil fuels is crude oil but the fact that they cannot be produced with the use of artificial materials, this kind of product is a non renewable form of energy. fellowships such as gas stations, anywhere in the world, runs their company by selling petroleum oil and gas that is used to make any transportation car run, except for the galvanic type ones. The fact that gas and crude oil are products that are harnessed from fossil fuel, which is a non-renewable form of energy and is soon to be depleted in the future; Other alternative must be used in order to counteract the imminent problem that may happen in the future.

News From Maldives

Ever since the commercial age, fossil fuels have brought us many benefits and have proven its efficiency in helping the industrialization of our planet. The problem is, by seeing too much advantage from the products of fossil fuels that are used everyday, the fact that this form of energy faces depletion has been overlooked. Additionally, the use of this form of energy contributes to pollution. From the deadly smokes that come from factories and vehicles, acid rains and other global issues have arisen.

Many environmentalists have been teaching schools, fellowships and other population in public as to how to save our planet from the dangers that it faces now. Air pollution and water pollution has been a problem since dangerous smokes and fluids are thrown to the sea and emitted from ships. The government too has been doing their part by apprehending offenders that just makes our environment's situation worst.

Easy ways to save electricity.

Turn Tv's, Dvd players, games consoles off at the plug when not in use. Some appliances use up to 90% of their power when on standby, so switch them off at the plug to save electricity and money. Line dry clothes to save energy from your tumble drier. Tumble driers are the second biggest energy user in the home after the fridge. If the weather is poor, you can all the time use a clotheshorse to dry your clothes.

Use energy efficient lighting around the home. Although energy efficient lighting seems costly at present, energy efficient light bulbs can last up to 10 times longer, and use only 25% of energy used by acceptable lighting. In the long run, the bulbs will pay for themselves.

Easy ways to save water.

By turning taps off when shaving and when brushing your teeth, you can save at least 6 litres of water per minute. If your taps leak, you could be wasting up to 5,500 litres of water per year, so all the time substituted your taps faulty washers.

Storing water in the fridge will stop you running the tap for long periods to get cold water.

Switch to watering the organery with a watering can. You can water your plants directly at the base so that the water goes straight to their roots, not on the leaves. Remember to water your plants in the evening to cut evaporation.

Easy ways to save heat.

Turning your boiler thermostat down by 1 degree, you can save up to 10% on your heating bill each year. With an median heating bill, this could be as much as £90 per year!

Use energy recovery window blinds to help trap warm air inside the home in cold weather, and direct sunlight out while hot weather. These types of blinds are around the same price as acceptable blinds, and can help you save money on your heating bills. Why would anything want to waste money on blinds that growth your heating bill?

Stop your boiler from overworking by switching radiators off in unused rooms, or rooms that are used less often than others.

* By following these easy steps, it is easy for anything to save energy, and save some extra cash to buy the things that are no ifs ands or buts worth buying.

Inspired by Dave Courchene

I just came over something we all can do that resonates so strongly with me.

"Get a bottle of clean water, hold it close to your hearts and offer a prayer. Straight through the Water, send a message of love and gratitude to the Earth, and to all water of the Earth that has been affected and contaminated. Send your love to the Water and to mother Earth.

News From Maldives

This strong love of Spirit that you will put into the Water will give force to mother Earth.

Go to your nearest body of Water - a creek, a stream, a river, a waterfall, lake or ocean, and pour your Water that you have blessed with your prayer of gratitude. It will be your spirit of love to the Earth that offers our best chance of survival."

From Dave Courchene of the Turtle Lodge

What if we consist of a foresight that folds in nicely with this inspired call to action. Maybe it will resonate with you as it does with me.

What if we blessed water monthly? Weekly? Daily? Quarterly? With the cycles of the moon? anything type of commitment makes sense to the individual. over the planet those participating would be contributing individually but as a whole there would be a consistency of intention.

While not everyone lives near water, the intention of gratitude transcend physical limitations. This could be done wherever you live; city, plains, mountains, desert. The planet is a whole - water, oxygen, atmosphere, ice, land, plants, animals and human all are part of Planet Earth.

We can bless and pour the water on the land or in water. Be where you are, be with the intention of blessing. That blessing would be carried to the atmosphere as the water evaporates or would blend with water. That blessing could then be part of the rain as it falls to bless the planet, people, plants and animals. We might then digest that blessing as we drink the water - same with the animals and plants. A cycle of blessing might be created. Our blessings would tour to all ecosystems carried by the winds that promote the normal circulation of air on the planet.

Singular group actions carry weight. Consistency of operation produces change. Reconsider it. Don't get caught by a confidence in victimhood - which suggests we have no choice. We do. We can make a divergence - link choice, intention and action. Our blessings can sway all of life in ways we can't imagine.

If you don't remember to do it every day, do it a few times a week, or weekly. It's about people sharing a coarse intention. If this resonates, plainly make an exertion and do the best you can. Collectively it makes a difference.

Tropical Rainforests - 4 Ways to Stop Deforestation

It's hard to imagine that we would knowingly destroy something so valuable; could it be that we are destroying them before we realize their worth? Before we truly understand their biodiversity? And even before we fully understand the life and the ecosystems they support?

Massive deforestation brings with it many horrifying consequences - air and water pollution, soil erosion, the issue of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, the eviction and decimation of indigenous Indian tribes, and the extinction of many plants, animals and creatures. Fewer rainforests mean less rain, less oxygen for us to breathe, and an increased threat of global warming.

News From Maldives

Confucius said, "A man who has committed a mistake and doesn't correct it, is committing someone else mistake." Clearly deforestation is man's mistake. So how do we correct this mistake? Can we correct this mistake?

If deforestation ceased today, it would help immensely, but unfortunately would not be enough. We have lost complete species, both in plant and animal life; however, all is not lost. What we can hope for in bringing deforestation to an end is a new beginning; new species to evolving and the rebirth of this diminishing treasure.

With the rapid loss of Earth's rainforests, it's time to correct our mistake. There is no easy clarification or quick fix, but there are surely steps that can be taken to stop the deforestation and restore not only the damaged ecosystems, but the charm of life that's been lost.

Four Invaluable Steps to recovery Our Rainforests:

Step #1: Education

In the last 20 years, deforestation has claimed millions of quadrate miles of tropical rainforests, and to protect their time to come we need to institute sound educational initiatives. Study programs and curricula for each grade level is vital as children of today are our future. Encouraging good global citizenship in school aged children will help them institute a deeper insight of conservation challenges, as well as a healthy respect for the environment. Study cannot, however, stop with school-aged kids; adults need the same Study about deforestation and preventative measures.

Educational resources are now becoming widely available to educators. For example, Paradise Earth academic is Paradise Earth's academic assistance and the Internet's premier source for rainforest education, replete with educational curricula for first and secondary education, multimedia educational features, and resources for study and teaching.

Step #2: Conservation Policies

Saving tropical rainforests is a worldwide responsibility, not just the accountability of the country the forests are home to. Stronger policies prohibiting deforestation need to be written and enforced; our accountability lies quite a bit deeper. If the international community wants to contribute a higher level of security of these forests, financial resources have to be a major part of the conservation strategy.

Historically, world governments have been willing to grant loans to tropical nations, and in some cases even cancel debts owed by them in change for environmental protection. For example, the British government recently assigned 0 million to preservation and sustainable development of tropical forests around the globe. Germany cleared Kenya of its 0 million debt when Kenya agreed to pass environmental legislation.

In 2001, President Clinton proposed 0 million in funds to sustain developing countries maintain their tropical forests while strengthening their economies. Under the budget, 0 million would go towards conservation programs (through the U.S. Department for International Development-Usaid), while million would be slated for debt-for-nature swaps under the Tropical Forest Conservation Act.

In increasing to financial support, advanced nations can also contribute their conservation expertise to developing countries and sustain in the planning of new protected areas.

Step #3: Restore & Re-grow

Though fully restoring our lost rainforests seems impossible, a myriad of studies and rebirth projects have been conducted worldwide.

In September 2008 the notification came that the first Kihansi spray toadlet was born at the Wildlife Conservation Society's Bronx Zoo. This slight mammal was last seen in the wild May of 2005. The birth of the Kihansi toadlet has renewed hopes that the species can someday be successfully reintroduced to its natural habitat in a remote gorge in Tanzania.

In other news, researchers from the Boyce Thompson institute for Plant Sciences (Bti) on the Cornell campus are attempting what many opinion was impossible -- restoring a tropical rain forest ecosystem. Ten years after the tree plantings, Cornell graduate student Jackeline Salazar counted the species of plants that took up home in the shade of the new-planted areas. She found remarkably high numbers of species -- more than 100 in each plot. And many of the new arrivals were also to be found in around remnants of the traditional forests.

It may take hundreds of years to procure what has been lost, but every year we see evidence that the "impossible" is in effect quite possible.

Step #4: maintain Ecotourism

According to United Nations World Tourism Organizatio, sustainable tourism is envisaged as leading to administration of all resources in such a way that economic, public and aesthetic needs can be fulfilled while maintaining cultural integrity, important ecological processes, biological diversity and life maintain systems.

Responsible ecotourism includes programs that minimize the negative aspects of accepted tourism on the environment while enhancing the cultural integrity of local citizen and their economy. From 1993 to 2003 alone, tourism to 23 countries harboring biodiversity hotspots grew by 100 percent.

At first glance, it seems that ecotourism was designed for the traveler, but its intent is much greater. Ecotourism creates jobs in food and beverage service, hotel and resort industry, transportation, and many other industries. Because Ecotourism relies on healthy ecosystems, it provides a fine incentive to protect our rainforests. citizen who earn their living from ecotourism are more likely to protect local natural resources and maintain conservation efforts.

Correcting the "mistake" of deforestation could still be probable; but not without an overdose of human exertion to ultimately bring an end to the demise of tropical rainforests. No matter how unreachable this goal may seem, our mistake still has a opportunity of being corrected.

An Introduction to Storm Water supervision Systems

Humans were once a purely nomadic species, meaning they only stay in one place and leave when they have eaten up all the ready food or when a storm is headed for that area. Nature in case, granted just sufficient security from the harsh elements. The trees held the water and prevented sudden floods, providing ample time for the humans to relocate to a more comfortable place.

However, when the humans started to produce permanent settlements to live in, they were faced with a new issue. They could no longer run away from rainstorms since they couldn't leave their food source and protection behind. What's worse, the trees that once protected them from floodwater were cut down to provide space for houses and farms, leaving them vulnerable to sudden torrents of floodwater, killing people and destroying property.

News From Maldives

Water pollution also became a major issue. Road surfaces contained oil and waste materials which are carried by storm water into nearby streams and rivers. These pollutants poison fish and other water animals, destroying possible food sources. Finally, rainstorm eats away the soil nearby the settlements, causing gigantic erosion. Sinkholes and landslides have killed countless people and buried entire communities.

To help sacrifice the negative effects of inordinate rain, humans advanced dissimilar kinds of management systems. Among the first water systems ever advanced were the aged Greek's water canals. These aged waterways were the ancestors of modern storm water systems protecting communities today.

These systems are also known as Best management Practices, or Storm Water Bmps. It can be designed to redirect rainstorm waters' safely away from a community, sacrifice its volume, or treat the water's quality before releasing it to nearby bodies of water. These are integrated with other systems, forming a single Bmp that performs all three functions.

How To pick The Right Resort For You In The Maldives

The Maldives are a truly spectacular destination - while it's a holiday location not exactly ideal for the highly budget conscious, a range of distinct star resorts do offer most travellers a occasion to taste its delights.

Here are a few things to consider when choosing on a Maldives resort:

News From Maldives

o settle what your budget is - this will immediately narrow your list of inherent resorts.

o settle what you're likely to be concerned in. For instance, the Maldives is a great place for diving - if you're going to be spending a lot of time diving then you must be aware that distinct resorts have distinct standards in their diving facilities. Some resorts are also naturally better for divers than others. You'll want to select a box that's best for diving (it's inherent to get diving packages so you don't have to spend a fortune on added diving expenses on a daily basis). Further, some resorts offer a wealth of activities and entertainment - others are very chilled and offer fewer activities (perfect if you just wish to laze by the sand gazing at the crystal blue waters).

o settle what type of box would be the best for you - most resorts are quite pricey when it comes to food and drink so while a bed & breakfast box (room & breakfast only) may at first appear cheaper, after paying for all food and drink it may in fact be more expensive than an all inclusive package.

o Full board may be a good selection in many cases as all meals are provided, although the guest still has to pay for drinks (a good selection for those who do not drink too much alcohol). If on the other hand you enjoy a tipple or five then the All Inclusive selection may well be the optimum box for you as drinks can be sinfully expensive at most resorts.

o Some resorts may cater to definite nationalities - for example predominantly Italian, German or Japanese clientele. This may be a qoute if you like to mingle but are unable to speak the dominant language.

o Most resorts offer a wide range of chamber types - settle which of these is best for you. For example, a accepted beach villa would be typically a few metres from the sea while a water villa is settled in the waters itself. Water villas can be gorgeous and offer the occasion to see the maritime life swim by while finding from the window - but they are considerably more pricey.

o Travellers with children should try and select a resort with a kids club if inherent - there is a world of disagreement in the middle of resorts when it comes to providing facilities that keep the kids entertained.

o If you do wish to spend a day exploring the capital Male as an excursion then you may not want to select a resort that's not too far away - some resorts do not offer this as a day trip so you may want to check this prior to booking.

o You may also want to consider when while the year you wish to go - the optimum time with regards to weather are in the middle of December and April when there is the most sunshine and least rain. At these months, there's no surprise to learn that the prices tend to be far higher.

o Some resorts (even the pricey ones at times) may not offer a personal Tv in the rooms - this is normally intentional to promote the "no news, no shoes" feel of the island. Few people come to the Maldives to watch Tv but if this is a relax that you naturally cannot live without then check with your trip agent before booking to see if your chosen resort offers one.

o If the look, feel and architecture of your lodging is prominent to you then you will want to explore and find the best resort for you - some can be more modern, roughly like a accepted hotel room while others are traditionally built with thatched roofs and even a partially open-air bathroom.

o Romantics and honeymooners may find that some of the smaller islands are more cosy, intimate & quiet while the larger ones may have more of a party feel to it and be more crowded

enhancing the Environments of Millions Without Banks or Corruption or Greedy Individuals Involved!

How can we convert the world as we make our way through 2011? It is a big inquire but the challenge is before us.

The news which has bombarded our over these past two or three weeks indicates so very clearly the type of environment in which we are living and by environment I include, corporeal and geographical and more and most importantly spiritual.

News From Maldives

If the spiritual is weak and faulty and just wrong, then so many other issues will be weak and faulty and wrong too and will cause suffering and pain to millions of men and women.

Jesus Christ changed this world by changing men! These men were soon to be accused of turning the world upside down when, in reality, they were working to turn it the right way up.

There is a situation, in Kenya, where a man called Sam came to Jesus Christ and soon this disciple of Jesus began to grow food for his family and then he began to reach out to help others. He knew he had to do something sure and practical to feed the hungry.

The environment was being improved on a micro-scale, but being improved it was and those around Sam benefited.

In some places women are made to feel they are worth itsybitsy and that they are of no importance.

If there is one thing the Christian Faith does, it is to give women and truly every person a place of importance and a sense of having real worth because they are now, in Christ.

Situations in homes are transformed with a consequential convert in that local environment. We saw this so evidently in Uganda too, as the risen and living Lord Jesus Christ was empowering women to find their permissible and relevant role in society.

One man was so disabled that he felt worthless. He came to Christ and the local church was able to guide him into employment development and repairing shoes. He was now earning and able to feed citizen whereas previously he had been begging from a bike.

The disabled in Kampala and Bungoma whom I saw need much help and encouragement in small steps and stages.

Jesus Christ has good news for every person and every person needs to hear that and know that and be aware of that and be unafraid and unashamed to share it.

As citizen are gently encouraged they can then be educated and find what Almighty God has for them. When it comes to school and children there are fees and uniforms and books but that can be gently overcome, as the home environment changes.

When Christ comes into the homes and when husbands and wives find Christ as Saviour and Lord and transformer, abuse stops, and forgiveness can take place and life can be so very different. The atmosphere of the environment is renewed.

To help bring about reconciliation in families can changes communities and towns and cities and even nations. This is what Jesus Christ came to do.

Deal with sin, and the opportunities will be extraordinary for every person involved.

To see man born in abject poverty and being lifted up out of that poverty is one of life's most sights. I have seen it in various circumstances in Kenya and Uganda over these past six years.

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came to do this, through His birth, life, teaching, death and resurrection.

Here we explore the creative power of God the Holy Spirit and when the Holy Spirit truly gets a hold of a man a multitude of circumstances are changed for the better. I just think of the three hundred citizen in rural Kenya who this time last year were walking four miles a day to regain all their water and now they have a well, a few yards from their homes.

With foresight and action, this could be multiplied thousands of time throughout 2011, and individual's environments radically improved.

Then, we could move on, and do it elsewhere on a bigger scale, without banks and without corruption, and without greedy individuals selfishly concerned about what they could make from such projects!
